Your drawing of the elephant looks very good. Your shading works well to give the feel of the rough skin/wrinkles in the elephant. you are very skilled with using cross hatching to add details. Your confirmation looks spot on as well. The whole piece works great together. Your pencil works on the background is wonderful. I really love the details of the blades of grass. The values in your lights and shadows work well together. They bring depth to the piece. I think this drawing dose a great job of supporting your point; of saying no to ivory trade. If you wanted to do more in this theme one of a mother elephant and her calf in a tender moment would be great. (Elephants are very social animals) Keep up the great work!
